Tara Royal Equestrian Center is a unique, private boarding & rehab facility conveniently located in McKinney, Texas. Just a short drive from Dallas, Tara Royal Equestrian Center is nestled on 64 beautiful acres of lush grass with mature trees, spring creeks, a galloping track, and our very special Royal Lake.

Tara Royal Equestrian Center’s resident horses run free in open spaces and have access to an abundance of green grass. They enjoy multiple turnout options of various sizes, safe and clean surroundings, premium nutrition and evenly spaced feeding times, superb ventilation, great stall comfort and large windows. Our horses are cared for by people who respect and love them for the incredible animals they are.
Our full-time resident staff takes daily care of our horses, providing turnout 7 days a week (weather permitting) and blanketing as needed. Grain is fed twice a day and hay three times a day. In addition to the exceptional care, Tara Royal Equestrian Center offers customized training in the dressage and hunter/jumper disciplines. Whether you are a beginner or a Grand Prix rider, we have trainers to meet your needs. Q: What type of care is provided at Tara Royal Equestrian Center?
Our knowledgeable staff lives on the property and takes great pride in caring for your horse. We feed each horse premium grain twice and hay three times daily. An automatic watering system ensures your horse has fresh, clean water on demand. Stalls are cleaned twice daily with new bedding added as needed. Each stall is equipped with fans, comfort stall anti-fatigue soft stall padding, and an automatic fly spray system for the hot summer months. We include daily turnout (weather permitting) for 4 to 15 hours in private, semi-private or group pastures where lush Bermuda grass is abundant. We spare no expense when it comes to the care of your horse.
Q: What if my horse needs additional medicine?
We only ask that you provide the medication or supplements that are needed. Tara Royal Equestrian Center management is able to provide immediate medical assistance in emergency situations where every second counts.
Q: How much is boarding at Tara Royal Equestrian Center?
$1000 to $1300 includes everything your horse needs to sustain a healthy quality of life with the services of our trainers offered separately.
